Bad idea to short. Fed is shoveling newly printed dollars into the REPO fire like a psychopath to keep short-term rates pinned at 2%, but market wants 10% rate. Fed doesn't care, and actually wants to see MUCH, MUCH more inflation. This means US$ WILL be pushed down (dollar spot index), and gold will go through the roof. Don't fight the Fed!
