The stock NASDAQ:GOOG is relevant to this video because they terminated my channel with very little reason. No warnings, strikes, or any further explanation. My heart is in my stomach and I just wanted to share my thoughts today.
I won't stop making content to help people become better traders. This is just a setback in my goal to reach people with actually useful trading ideas.

Could it be that your channel was terminated because you offered a "negative" view on the future prospects of Alphabet's prices? Although the chart in the background doesn't seem to be looking all that bad...
After all, Alphabet is the owner of (Google and) Youtube.
Those big social media platforms have been displaying a rather alarming tendency towards censoring content that is not favorable to them.

@BelowZero, I seriously doubt it. That would be so risky for them. Imagine if someone could prove that, how hard that would come back to bite them. Just to shut down a small sized channel? Very unlikely. I honestly have no idea why he was banned because I never saw his videos, and you can't view anything on his channel anymore because they locked it. But, I just really doubt that is the reason why.

@blu3sagehs, Of course, it is not a conspiracy targeted against Norok specifically. But there have been well documented censorship initiatives of large social media companies on specific topics. Facebook Australia and the Trump tweets come to mind lately, without even having to dig much.
Youtube has a nasty past when it comes to dealing with crypto-currency channels in general.
I am not saying there are algorithms actively censoring certain less favorable aspects of Youtube (such as Alphabet financial reviews that come poorly rated), I am just saying that, in light of past events, I wouldn't be surprised having certain topics closely monitored by YouTube. Maybe Norok and his channel got caught into something like that. This is all very speculative, of course.
"Imagine if someone could prove that". That is the problem, you can not prove it. The only way to prove it would be to have access to YouTube algorithms, and those are much better guarded than the crown jewels. So, in practice, they can do whatever they want and just deny it, in case of trouble.
The solution is, of course, to move away from the traditional social media platforms into the (many) decentralized current alternatives. In the short term there is a big loss in exposure, but it might pay off in the long run, as those new channels begin to gain more traction. Also, you can go to bed with the peace of mind that no one will go around shutting down your channel overnight and it should still be there in the next morning.

Must be doing something right if they banned you. Don't give up. There are other ways to grow your audience. Do you have twitter or instagram? I didn't know you had a youtube chanel btw. Good luck with your apeal, hope you get it back in no time! ;)
