Garret Motion (GTX) has a strong multiple-year above-average earnings growth outlook. The stock is undervalued as compared to its main competitors, leaving plenty of room to the upside. GTX has been consolidating in a bull flag formation, which just recently broke higher to a new 52-week high.
GTX produces turbochargers, air & fluid compressors, and high-speed electric motors. Turbochargers are increasingly needed as automakers need to comply with stricter emissions standards. Turbos allow automakers to make smaller engines as they boost overall power. Compressors are increasingly needed in hybrid vehicles which have been increasing in demand.
GTX's high-speed electric motors are used in EVs, fuel-cells, and other applications.
GTX's above-average growth and low valuation should drive the stock for above-average gains in 2026. My conservative one-year price target is $23 to $24. However, more positive sentiment for the stock could lead to stronger gains.
