For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. (SHORT–term)

Description

I expect the price to drop sub 30k because of the false expectations traders created around the limited launch of ICNx ; the sentiment on the streets bullish because everybody thinks they will get access to the index fund on the next update the team is going to provide, when in fact the team has mentioned the order many times until now but it seems like nobody is listening, i guess lying to themselves is more comforting, the team will finish rolling out the invites for the beta subscribers, then will start rolling invites for the I.C.O investors based on the size of the investment and only after that's completed everybody else will follow.

So based on this simple logic i've placed my buy orders accordingly. Since i'm not Nostradamus I may be completely wrong in which case i may be caught off guard and probably forced to fomo back in. Time will correct me... or not :))

Don't get me wrong, i'm a permabull on this project, i would like just to avoid what i consider being inevitable, i will buy back on the first opportunity to do so.

Trade closed manually

this was a short term proposition, 0.000245 - 0.000265 never came it may come in the near future, it still depends on the news but i can't wait and miss the train, as i said in the comments i've been watching it closely and i've bought back on the first opportunity to do so, aka i was one of the first to FOMO :)) on average i've bought back at 34-35k, you know what they say, trend is your friend.

@outboxvision good prediction ;) just one question: where could we store ICN out of the exchange?
outboxvision
@FoxHound95, yes, you have to do that in order to receive the dividends, use myetherwallet.com/

Also people don't understand what ICN is, what it represents and what it isn't. It isn't a coin that is a mean of payment that will boom from 0.3$ to 1000$ it will never happen. Its main purpose is to be a reward for investors and indicator of performance. Whales are hammering it down as its true investment value is linked to returns that are estimated for now to be around 0.006$ per 1 ICN per Year (very optimistic scenario), thus it seems crazy to them, to keep them for more than returns that it can ever generate. Putting 0.6$ into coin that will give 100% ROI after 10 years is poor peg against fiat inflation.

@MateuszGrzelak, 0.006$? thats 0.6 cents
MateuszGrzelak
@stijn36, Sorry it is indeed 0.06$

@MateuszGrzelak, i'm looking at ICN as a asset, it will increase in value a lot % wise, not to 1k $ but more like 10$ which is huge at this base entry of 0.3-0.4$ we see nowadays. This will happen in about 2-3 years. The index fund is not going to be the main source of dividends, the open management platform will be, the index fund will take second place and the closed end fund aka performance fund will take 3rd place in terms of providing dividends for us. This is the next billion $ project and we should consider ourselves lucky to be the innovators, early majority will come by the end of the year which will take us to 1-2 $ / ICN. See the law of diffusion of innovation for reference.

@MateuszGrzelak, now is a bit early to talk about income from dividends anyway, the most we could project is the token value since there are less variables included.

@outboxvision, Please correct me if I am wrong.
I am taking this as reference: medium.com/@FutureIsNow/iconomi-profits-estimation-5dba0fa96b6c
(Take into account while reaing that ROI on this webpage is calculated assuming you paid sub 0.1$ per ICN)

Embarrassed Worst Case:
0.85M$ earnings per 100M ICN == 0.0085$ per year per ICN return, If the current price is 0.3$, that makes amortization equal to 35 Years -> that is how long we will have to wait to get our money back (assuming no one would want to buy our tokens)

Average Case:
63.75M$ per 100M ICN == 0.6375$ per year per ICN, full amortization -> ~6 Months

Average case seems little to optimistic for me.
That would explain a lot what investors are thinking, probably betting to see full 2x return from what they put into this after lets say 3 years, so maybe:

Realistic scenario as for is:
10M$ per 100M ICN == 0.1$ is the fair price and that is what everybody is aiming at although as I strongly believe in this project, I think 0.2$ is not so bad to buy again from initial price level as I can wait 6 years to see sensible returns.

Nevertheless 0.06$ that I estimated is not a small amount or underestimation from my side 0.3$/0.06$ a Year == 100% per 5 years, and it is 20% RPI a year which is huge considering there does not exist a single bank in the world that will offer you 20% yearly interest ! (Although I might be wrong and dividends may be even smaller and I also don't considering token prices as I don't see a value in speculation around it - you might win, you might loose depending on your treading skills but if you trade you don't get dividends from your proof of stake wallet as I believe)

@MateuszGrzelak, the math is right but is is missing two variables with can't be foreseen now, by that i mean the growth of the performance fund, we take 20 % from that and most important how many funds the damp platform is going to attract, imagine 1000 funds of various sizes running on the platform, i'm not looking at dividends for ROI but more like a bonus, i'm gonna make my ROI from selling a portion of my stack when we reach $2-2.5 and from then on, is pure profit with 0 risk.
