Currently at Support of a Decade Long Upward Channel
As long as the WEEKLY candlestick chart closes WITHIN the channel I will consider my setup VALID.
I will consider this setup INVALIDATED, IF weekly candle closes BELOW the channel support.
Side Notes to consider: All lower timeframes ranging from 1hr to 3day are heavily OVERSOLD.

2 more days until 5day close (keep in mind anything can happen).
with that said, buyers have stepped in here at support printing a nice reversal candle. INTC looking good so far and going as planned.

A lot of Intel people have switched to AMD.
Being a computer geek, and having done tons of research to build PCs myself, AMD is well known to be the best for multitasking operations.
Intel, not so much. Considering the new work from home dynamic, people need better desktops and laptops to handle having many applications open at once. They're new 3k ryzen line is well known for great performance and being much cheaper than its lesser intel counterparts.
Considering the way Intel also pushed back their dev and how far ahead AMD is in that aspect, plus the added benefit of AMD growing into the graphics card market, I think its not hard to see. Intel is struggling to keep up

@zfuentess, yeah that’s all true. But I think intel will have a better chip (than what they have now) once they start outsourcing. But remember they are moving to more data driven products. So. Chips aren’t even really going to be their main Breadwinner in a couple of years. But in the mean time they need to meet deadlines. And if outsourcing remedies that their profits will go up ( They lost Apple I think for now. But still have dell and leveno)

@zfuentess, I'm old enough to remember the same thing having happened in the early 2000s. AMD Athlon XP beating Intel Pentium 4 pants down in price and performance. We all thought AMD was gonna take over the market. Well, that didn't happen as Intel caught up and overtook AMD with their Core series.
almost 20 years later, here we are again.

@danchen1982, I am the same age as you. Also remember how I discussed with my friends which one is better. Durons or Celerons , Athlons or P4... But to tell the truth back then AMD was another company than it is nowadays. They were fighting for their place in the industry. Now everything changed, they are technologically better than Intel. Just think about it. When Intel is going to produce their 7nm processors ,AMD is going to switch to 5nm. I don't know what could help Intel today, maybe skipping 7nm and going straight into 5nm process could help them.

Thanks for analyses and charts. It seems that INTEL is left behind like IBM (never really recovered).Better companies to invest in like NVDA.

and remember why it dropped, Because they said they are going to outsource. So outsourcing to the same company that is making amd chips (arguably the better chips right now). intel had problems meeting deadlines . outsourcing should help with that, also they can lay off some employees . The market overreacted imho, maybe only purists should be upset but intel is in the business of making money, first

The 5D printed a Doji INSIDE the channel. This gives us optimism that trade is still active and intact. Will continue to hold down here for the potential run up until further notice. Cheers!
