Cup and Handle

Long
NYSE:JELD   JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.
Pattern not valid under long entry level

There are no rising wedges in the yearly chart.
All time high is 42.27 and there is resistance overhead. Whenever a stock has pulled back to this level, although way above low of 6.06 (Wish I had seen this then..oh well) There will most likely be supply overhead who will sell at rallies up so road up may take longer. I guess some folks only buy at highs so as not to fight resistance. Although what does up must come down, is the law of gravity, so resisitance always forms eventually.
Support under handle low and under gap in handle at 24.50ish
NV and OBV are high.

I saw this on chartmill as it had large effective volume today and a pocket pivot/SO did MSGE and CORN..just FYI. MSGE also had large effective volume yesterday as well and CORN has shown up on that filter almost daily for the last week. These are large players and do not always pick fantastic entries so be safe..

A pocket pivot is a Price/Volumepattern. Price forms a pocket pivot, when:

The price goes up compared to yesterdays close.
The volume today is higher than the maximum down volume of the past 10 days.

Effective Volume analyses the intraday volume on the minute level to determine what small and large players are doing in terms of accumulation and distribution.

Just an observation and not a recommendation..

The handle seems to be trading in a rectagle pattern.
