There's really no room for anything else. That includes the other centers available. The two guys fighting for that backup center job are Henry and Jordan DeRozan, who is a rookie.
DeRozan and Henry may very well end up competing for the backup center job.
But it would be a really bad idea to have the starters at backup centers.
Henry is one of the better backups you will find. He can shoot the ball. He can move the ball. He can block shots.
And he can finish in the lane.
All that stuff is important.
"If I want to be here," Henry said. "I have to do the things that he's asking me to do. I'm the guy he put on his roster. I'm the guy that he wants to see starting."
