Price action is a very interesting foundation on the chart.
Price can move up, move down, or range sideways — but price action also has a different appearance.
Is the move stretched and in need of a correction?
As someone who has recently learned to enjoy running, I realized that in order to run long marathon distances, we need to consume sugars and glucose along the way so our energy doesn’t collapse and we can keep moving toward our running goals.
The same applies to the markets.
A decline for the sake of a decline — until we see otherwise.
Every decline is potentially fuel for the next move higher.
“Until we see otherwise” means until momentum shifts on my small-to-medium timeframes. On the larger timeframes, it means waiting for the trend to give a clear confirmation of a significant change.
Here are a few potential long setups I’d love to see: price moving lower first, creating the fuel for the next move higher.
A little sugar for the road — then we keep running. 🏃♂️📈
