JLS: Indonesian Rupiah Depreciated by Japanese Yen Over 3000 % Long

JAPANESE YEN / INDONESIAN RUPIAHICE

Description

Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) already deprecited by Japanese Yen (JPY) for over 3000 % since the Reforms Era in 1998/1999 and over 400 % depreciated by US Dollar (USD). By average, a 10-15 years cycles the global exchange rates were fluctuated for 50 % to 75 % and the 3000 % and 400 % depreciation on Indonesian Rupiah is "out of control".

The over $ 1.00 trillion Indonesian GDP is mainly funded by foreign debts (USD, JPY, EUR) due to limited capacity of Indonesian wealth. And the World Bank, ADB and other multilateral banks are continuing to support Indonesia by providing USD, JPY and EUR-denominated debts at very competitive interest rates and medium to long terms. However, the depreciation rate of IDR could be the largest contributor for the collapse of Indonesian economy.

By counting ten years from 2019, and unless appropriate measures and policies to be implemented, Indonesia will experience deeper economic and financial crisis than Venezuela, the collapse of regilious-motivated politics on constitutions, policies and regulations.
