When you talk of accumulation at these levels how many would you say was a good amount, or would it be a case of throw everything at it?

For example If you have less than 10k and want to make meaningful returns, that could help level up your life. You need to catch a couple homeruns... so we're talking low cap altcoins. But LINK could still play a role in stabilising those highly volatile microcaps.
If you have over 100k to work with , you want the upside. But you're also defending that 100k , because seeing that go to 10k could be devastating. That's where those "cautious" portfolios come into play ... i.e. 25% BTC, 25% ETH, 25% Mid cap alts 25% low cap.
