given that such trade implies an overnight position, you might end up with the stock suddenly opening with a massive gap down, way below your stop, with you being dragged even further below, with your broker trying to cover you with the market order, which would be competing for the scarce bids with the other unlucky bunch.
Good idea overall, but better played out with call options. At least your risk is known beforehand and is limited.
