There was a "fake" Litecoin "pump" earlier today. The price rose to around $4,38 on BTC-e, but dropped even quicker. In other words; the price it pumped to did not even hold for a single hour. It's currently only a few cents above from what the price was prior to the "pump".
My theory is that the "manipulators" (and I suspect Coblee to be among them) orchestrated this fake pump to give those who still believe in a Litecoin recovery some hope. I have read some people call this a "test pump" and that the "real one" is imminent, that it will happen within a few days.
I don't believe that. I expect LTC value to crash hard. Keep in mind that this coin did not pump with the other cryptocurrencies, but it ALWAYS dumps when the waterfalls are red in cryptoland.
I am personally short on 20x leverage, original 12k contracts, but have added to my position. Margin call around 4,42, and I am confident quarterlies will not hit this price anytime soon (at least not during the current quarterlies period) - if ever.
