question: does LTC get interersting when BTC cools down

mortonpeak Updated
COINBASE:LTCUSD   Litecoin
LTC is showing nice EMA/SMA weaving, and nice volatilty, two day period. I can assume that LTC watchers also trade BTC, and like to dabble in LTC when BTC slows down, and have a few hours to spare (or in this case, a day or two to allow BTC to attract buyers). Since ETH and LTC are behaving nicely, this comes amidst the BTC fear-fest, as the forks calls off. I am curious if you believe that these crypto-alts are most active when BTC is having issues.
Comment:
as a new LTC watcher, I am pleased with the day-trading possibilities over the last two weeks. Their Bollinger channel represents a consistent 7.5% swing (up and bottom bands combined), with easy insertion points at the bottom of the channel. If I were teaching an introduction to technical analysis, I would use LTC this past two weeks, as it represents a paragon of consistent buy-in, sell-out opportunities along its bollingers.
