How To: Find and Trade the Best Setups GLOBALLY with TradingView Education

LSB Industries, Inc.NYSE

Description

I am a big fan of the TradingView screener and how flexible it is in allowing you to find the best stock setups that meet your criteria.

My only negative though was that you could only do it for one market at a time - or so I thought.

I don't know if this is new functionality or if it has been around for a while, but in this video I will show you how to:

- Use the stock screener to add thousands of stocks from exchanges all around the world

- Filter them to find the best trade setups. In this example we look for stocks that are up over 100% over the last 12 months and where the MACD is crossing UP through the signal line (i.e. faster moving average crossing up through slower moving average) which is often a bullish sign showing that momentum to the upside is coming back into the stock.

- Create and add stocks you want to investigate further into a watch list

- Do further investigation beyond just the technical set up by looking at recent news, their financials, what they do, check their website and the TradingView technical Buy and Sell momentum signals.

VERY cool. VERY powerful.

Hope you like the video. Give it a thumbs up if you learnt something new. I did :)

It did not work for me. Always only one market is selected. :(

@sastock, did you try and hold down CRTL and then click to multi-select?
(Ill check to see if it is paid user functionality)
sastock
@Angusmck, yes I did try around 20 times to confirm whether holding Ctrl key this feature works or not. May be it’s only for paid users.
zAngus
@sastock, you are quite right. I checked and paid member functionality.
