When you create an account on TradingView, you're pretty much set for realtime stock, forex, and crypto data. Want to know the price of Bitcoin or Apple? No problem. But futures data is a different animal. In this tutorial I demonstrate how to use a demo account from one of the integrated futures brokers to get futures quotes so that you can practice trading the futures markets using the trading features on TradingView.

A few good comments mentioning that index CFDs with these symbols US500, US30, NAS100, etc are free and do track the index prices closely. This is absolutely true. I'll likely record a follow-up video explaining this in more detail as these products are not widely available at U.S. brokers, don't trade on regulated exchanges, and vary by product...but - they do get the job done to get the quotes real time.

Another helpful article from TradingView on futures data and their supported brokers. You can also get 2-weeks free of real time (demo) from this data providers (CQG).
