While we need another week~ to confirm, many leading scientists are pointing to death rates anywhere from 30% to 90% lower with Omicron. Yes, it's still problematic but there's hope for the first time in a long time. What happens is Omicron becomes the dominant variant and the majority of people have minimal symptoms?
We could see a DRASTIC repricing in some of the vaccine stocks, particularily MRNA. Fair value on MRNA is likely <$100. If we can't reclaim $315, I think we will see $180 and possible $150 within weeks.
I bought some OTM puts for a lotto play :p.

Below support, momentum continues to tank. Bullish news is not moving the stock. Even if I were a bull I'd be scared... look how the stock reacts to "good" news like new vaccine contracts? This is PRICED IN.

$230 is the line in the sand for bears. I still expect 170-180 to be visited, likely next week at this stage. The CEO is speaking monday am so should see some big movement there, the markets reaction will be very telling

For me this is trade closed - got a 20x at the peak on my puts. However I think this can still bleed to $125, but meat of the shortside is DONE. This was one of the greatest trades of my career to date.

Big week coming up - we potentially have the SCOTUS OSHA decision, Bancel speaks monday am before open. Market reaction will be telling, but I wouldn't try and gamble on the events themselves...
