Statistically stocks will retrace after a rocket ride, so one will almost always have the opportunity to re-enter after a pullback. Even if the spike is only 25%, think of it this way, sell and keep the profits in cash, you are up 25% for the year and none of it is at risk. Leave it in and all of it is at risk. From my experience, taking profits as a trader wins over buy and hold.

@ChrisShawky, absolutely correct :) taking profit at key PA levels through uptrends VS one trade is better :)
