I AM BACK - NASDAQ - (Analysis) Long

US Nas 100OANDA

Description

Greetings everybody!

I hope you have all been well and my apologies for the long break. I'm now back at it again and do hope to see my self back in the top authors for the NAS100 instrument on TradingView. I hope you've all been well, I've missed you all. Let's start making some bank during pandemics.

First Buyers Price: 11516 to 11560

Second Buyers Price: 11191.3 to 11243.6

Confluences
  • Looking at orders that have been placed on the market currently at 'pending' prices.
  • Impactful Fundamental News
  • NFP Approaching today
  • Stock Split & Sell off

I'm personally still anticipating more sells but if I see strong enough buyer support I'm entering, Second Buyers Price looks to be the target for the sellers today though.. But this can change. However I do believe we just should sit and wait for it to come to us, as always...

If you enjoyed the idea give it a thumbs up!
Ask questions, get involved. Let's educate each other

and lastly, have a great day!

Trade closed: stop reached

A very sad day indeed. Monday I'll be hosting a live stream to re-enter.

First idea after a long break, was 4.1 pips off on my SL for capturing a quick few hundred ticks up before the sellers stepped back in.

We can't trade them all, but when we do.... We do it properly

Great post, thanks. Based on your analysis, looks like nas100 can potential go down quite a bit more in the coming week. I have 22 TSLA shares and I'm currently negative $1187. I was thinking about putting a stop loss to cut my losses. Would you put a stop loss at this point, and if so, where would you put the stop? I'm pretty new at trading and know I should've put the stop loss in when I entered the position. Now I'm just trying to figure out the best strategy to get out of this mess.

Would appreciate your opinion. Thanks so much.

@laithsinawi, if you're already in a position and you haven't already protected it with a stop-loss, I'd highly recommend you do with all future positions. Since I don't know your capital or goals I unfortunately cannot give you any advice regarding the position. I don't favor stocks and tend to not "Trade" stocks, they're more a long term hold. You shouldn't ever buy and sell stocks on that same day.

But in your situation and regarding your position. Cut losses and learn from the hard mistake. IF you keep making them, you'll keep losing money, so... You'll learn quickly that you must protect all positions, also keep the numbers to yourself... You don't need to say how much you've lost or how many shares you own publicly.. Be humble.

Sorry I can't be anymore of help, but I do hope I can provide some great advice in the upcoming stream

@ZachsPlace, Thanks for the advise. I really appreciate it, and with mentioning numbers. After thinking about, it's unnecessary and inappropriate.

That’s it @laithsinawi! It’s great to look at the numbers and think wow 🤩 but what really matters is what you have and how you get there. The Forex market isn’t a straight line.

hey im new at trading.. how do you know where orders have been places on the market at pending prices.. can you explain?
UnknownUnicorn5989561
Hey @withlovemom101, thanks for commenting. Lots of study and it's not charts you need to look at to see this. If you have some form of financial background you have an advantage but if you're just getting into trading, I suggest you start learning about how the Foreign Exchange Market works. Here is a big tip: Buyers can become sellers, Sellers can become buyers. Traditional forms of Technical Analysis can only go so far especially during a time like this.

For the NASDAQ index, a great website to see overall company performance (Major market capped companies in the index) can give you a clear indication of where the price will be heading to or is currently heading to as well is: finviz.com
