The timing of this idea was not on point and IMO his target might be too high. Bullcycles tend to get more and more stretched out over time, that's how markets mature.
We have to ask ourselves: imagine Bitcoin reaches targets between 100-200k this bullcycle, that's a market cap of 2.8T IF it reaches let's say 150k. Could Neo in that case reach 1000+ USD?
There are 70M Neo in circulation, that means a 70B market cap if it reaches 1000 USD. That would make it 3.8% of Bitcoin's market cap at a certain point (or 0.0067 sats price wise). Last bullcycle NEO/BTC reached 0.015 sats.
Do I believe 0.0067 sats is possible for NEO/BTC during this cycle? Technically, yes.
Do I believe Bitcoin might reach 100-200k? Techically, yes.
So to keep things short: could Neo hit 1k USD? As crazy as it sounds right now, yes, it is possible.
Will it reach 1k USD? Not certain at all. This market is sensitive and volatile.
You were right and optimum timing!! We are just touching the upward curve.
The parabolic move will begin in the next few weeks with release of mainnet 3.0 anyday now.
