This couldn't come at a worse time than the unveiling of Disney+, the direct to consumer streaming which at $6.99/ month was indeed a substantial discount to NFLX as promised by Bob Iger 6 months ago. While Disney+ may not have as many titles as NFLX presently, its quality is far superior with Marvel, Pixar, Starwars, Disney, Lifetime, Fox, and some of the top notch studios in the industry. True enough, a day after the unveiling, DIS went up 12% while NFLX dropped 4%.
