Natural Gas - In a bigger corrective structure - Buy opportunity Long

Natural Gas (Henry Hub)FXCM

Description

Natural Gas (Henry Hub) is in a bigger ABC corrective structure of a previous downward movement. Overall, in the weekly timeframe, it is in a big sideways move, but what we're interested in today, is that it will retest the previous highs taking the price in the 3.5 area, making it for a very decent short term buy opportunity.

If you are not in the buy from the break of the previous downtrend on the 4hr timeframe, wait for a small flag or corrective structure to the downside of today's upside move, and buy the break of said correction with a stop loss below it.

Comment

Monitor closely and stop in BE, or manage your positions accordingly. Could break the previous low at 2.519 first, and then go for the climb on the "c" leg.
Even if it breaks previous low, our model does not change a bit:

@JiaBao, Hello there, thank you for your comment. According to the structure we are seeing, natural gas is in a correction and should break (a) wave's top at 3.419, so it certainly will pass through 3.0.
In how long it will get there, we don't know. Could take a few months. Best regards,

Thanks for the post, could you please explain why after the yellow "c" it has to go below the blue "c"?

@Mitasse, Hello there, and thank you for your question. According to the structure we are seeing, Natural Gas has just completed a running flat (abc in blue) correction to the upside, but within a bigger movement to the downside (abc in yellow). This last one is also a corrective structure of a bigger movement on the weekly timeframe. Best regards,
