Nikkei Hyperwave

Nikkei 225 IndexTVC

Description

The data on tradingview for this Hyperwave is not all that great but you can find other charts that will confirm it for you. The Japanese Asset bubble was an incredibly large HW where at one point if memeory serves me correctly, all of the real estate in Tokyo was 'on paper' worth more than publicly traded company in the United States and the Emperors Palace alone was worth more than all of the real estate in Manhattan. Insane... but it happened... The correction was violent and immediate. The Phase 7 dropped all the way back to Phase 1 in 2002, 12 years after the bubble burst. The Japanese stock market was never the same after, just barely recovering half of its previous value recently.

Jay,

Impressive long term-chart. Well done
1989 Cycle Bust, and almost 20 Years later, still falling down.

Curious:
Do you have a HYPERWAVE Chart of the Shanghai Composite ? ( SHCOMP )

China's stock market was down 30% from its recent high, but is getting a lot of media attention overnight due to it's 4 % rise off major trend line on 10/22/18.

@The_Unwind, It does have a very similar structure back leading up to the 08 financial crisis, and Phases 4-7 follow Hyperwave rules to a T, the beginning of it is tricky because it almost just goes parabolic but I would have to think about it some more. I'll post a chart soon. As far as this year is concerned I don't think it was in any Hyperwave now, unless it is a fractal bubbling up along what would be a very large Phase 2, which could be the case only time will tell. It's important to remember that 85% of HW in Phase 2 fail, but once they go into a Phase 3, 85% complete the whole structure. we'll keep an eye on it
