i usually use one of the two:
- 9 line EMA (for rapid growing stocks), sometimes even 5 EMA if the price explodes by two figures.
- 5 line EMA crossing under 20 EMA (for large caps or value stocks that move more slowly); this one is also my entry sign when crossing over! (most of the time) + MACD

I've tried so many stop loss strategies. Honesty, each trade has it's own volatility, strength and strategy because if I'm buying a dip, it's a tighter stop and if I'm trading the edges, it's a bit of a further stop. But thanks for sharing! Always good to share incites and perspectives on stops.
