Transfer of ABRAMS and LEOPARD 2 tanks to Ukraine has become unblocked. Ukraine would have requested, so it seems, over 300 tanks, deemed necessary to replace the losses suffered especially in recent months, to increase firepower and move on the most difficult terrains. Tanks will necessarily need air cover. Tanks are always dangerous, because in fact we pass from a positional/artillery war to an offensive one. The tanks are the real "boots on the groud" and I don't think they will be only for the defense of the Ukrainian territory. It is rapidly moving to a new level of confrontation.
