How To Change The Time Zone In Tradingview Charts

Changing the time zone is very easy, but it is a question I see popping up a lot, so here is a quick guide to help you.

Click on the time showing at the bottom right corner of your chart and then select whichever time zone you prefer to sync your charts up to.

I personally set mine to UTC -5 New York because regular trading hours for US stocks and futures are going to start trading at 9:30am and close at 4pm so by having my charts synced to the New York time zone, I always know exactly what time we are at in New York so I don't try to take any trades at the wrong times.

You can also set your time zone to Exchange which will set your chart to the time zone that the ticker's exchange is set to. For example SPY charts from NYSE will sync the chart to the same time zone as the NYSE which is in New York so it will automatically adjust the chart time zone to the New York time zone. Then if you change to BTCUSD at Coinbase, it will sync to UTC time zone.

That's it! Hope this helps. Any questions, drop them in the comments.
