NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA): Earnings Crash

Let's see what is happening here, look at the daily MACD, notice this divergence: It is a bearish divergence by the way.

The RSI, jumping off a cliff:

These are all on the daily timeframe because the earnings are coming out within days. The stochastic showing a lower high and bearish conditions:

The chart doesn't look very good either but nothing says it has to go straight down. Lots of warning signals all across, weakness all over the chart, but still mixed in many ways. The mixed portion comes from the fact that the stock is rising while all the technicals are pointing to an exhausted bullish wave.

The stock is rising but buyers are exhausted.

Let me ask you a question. Will the crash happen before the earnings release, on the date of the earnings or several days after?

Trade active

Post-market trading turns negative after earnings release. Some negative news as well appeared today. While this isn't my focus on this analysis, it supports the chart.

NVDA technicals continue to show and support a bearish bias. Let's see how the market reacts tomorrow.
