With every new breakthrough in technology, there are a massive number of people who fail to understand it and make ridiculously stupid 'investments' based on braindead speculation. This seems like a perfect example. A small bubble has emerged within certain AI-themed equities and even cryptocurrencies, and we think that this bubble is about finished now.
AI will change the game. But you will lose the new game too, just like you are losing the current game if you are too stupid to realize that investing in a deeply overvalued 500 billion dollar company will not make you rich.
this would be much more intersting if you argued the fundamentals. For example, what is is that most people "fail to understand" about AI? fwiw, I agree with your trade idea.

@ejpeterson728, friends, the stock is simply too expensive from any perspective. 131.1x P/E Ratio, 21.2x PS Ratio, 25.9x PB Ratio... It would need to capture benefits from absolutely earth-shattering paradigm shifts from "AI" to even begin to be fairly priced. People do not realize that AI investments will almost all be failures, similar to the dot com bubble. There may be only one big winner, and it might not even exist yet. I think the big winner is the first to actually achieve superintelligence. Maybe just buy the winner once it wins, and not gamble on lottery tickets as far as I see. The best case for humanity in terms of AI is actually that it becomes 100% open source, and no single company holds a monopoly either way, making all AI investments nearly worthless.
