I think a bounce is due, even if the line breaks eventually. MMTH was just recently below 20 and yesterday was back near 15. This has coincided with bottoms in the past, though even in 2008-09 the index dipped down twice and then recovered. If this time really is different then MMTH may hover down below 20 for longer, which will probably coincide with your trendline being broken.
