Hi Kadhija, I think if you look at the same pattern on a daily chart you will see the impulse wave (XA) is more smoother and infact the same cypher is also present on the daily chart. @alex please correct me if I am wrong as I am learning too..

You need to work at your XA identification. Harmonic patterns structure presupposes XA to be one swing and ABCD movement to be a complex pullback to that swing. Swing identification is very important if your want to become a harmonic pattern trader. One swing is a market movement consisting of same colored candles mostly. W. Gann defines one up-swing being a movement consisting of bars which have higher highs and higher lows above each other. The first candle having a lower low below the previous candle start the minor-trend swing to the down side. He also applies some filters. For intermidiate-trend swings you need to see two candles with desending low. For major-trend swings you need three descending lows. See it here as illustration. http://www.ensignsoftware.com/blog/2012/02/gann-2-bar-swings-2/
Of course it is only one way of swing identification. I, define swings differently from Gann, I Calculate correction structure+correction size. Which, indeed is that thing that separates one impulse from another. There are lots of ways to do that. Choose one and you will always know that you take the same XA every time you find a pattern.
Your bat is not for 240, you'd better switch it to Daily or even 4-Day chart so your XA swing will look like single movement.
Remember, different XA types - different strategies. Even if you trade only bats you are trading different strategies if you take different XA types. Because there are more than 20 ways of defining swings you maybe trading 20 strategies. Did you test all of these 20? Is the result on every of these strategies predictable for you? And of course each strategy gives its own drawdown. Let's take minimum 5%. What if all 20 strategies give you a drawdon of 5% each simultaneously? Will your deposit survive that? And multiply that by the number of pairs you trade!
Think of that and work out a very sound way of XA identification BEFORE you even try to remember the ratios of bats, gartleys, cyphers, sharks, 5-0, crabs, eagles, black swang and the like.
Have a good day!)

Eventhough her xa and D point identifications are complex to follow , she is bringing pips consistently. So I feel the human input to the pattern drawing is very crucial !!
Thanks for your informative and helpful analysis. !!

I don't like complicated, first of at all, I work with Fibo, try to draw it with correctly, and then I took the harmonics pattern for matching its, simple as that. and well, honestly many people told me that my setup is freak and look dump. yup, sorry for that but I don't really care, my setup is my own journal. my trade is my own responsibility.

thanks for your correction, it's very useful to me to increase my knowledge in five month trade, I really appreciate. (sorry for my English)

I don't say she is not making any money. Read my message carefully. I say that her making money looks more to be luck than regularity.
