fximperija, wondering if you can help me understand a few things about shark and cypher.

for the cypher pattern the D-point is located by a 0.786 XC retracement.

1. Now tor the shark pattern, the D-point is an 0.886 - 1.13 retracement. Is this measured from XA or XC?

2. Although there are some differences between shark and cypher, there is an overlap. How do you personally determine whether its a shark or cypher? Do you just evaluate the PA at the key D-points for both patterns?

Thanks in advance :)

Regarding cypher: C has to be a 127.2-1.414 ext. of XA, while for shark it's 113-161.8. When you have an 141.4 ext it could be a cypher as well as shark. Next thing is the AB ext. of min 161.8 to D for a shark. Depending on structure you will see where the D should be @88.6 or 113.

hi dear, I am a your fan........you are really professional pattern trader. however i mostly like to analyse charts myself. but not on patterns. I use Price action strategies.
i just watched your chart and it really appeal me. you have analysed well in this chart......however i think this market likely to go down at least 300 points from here, if the market closes above 0.8370 then it will get bullish control and signaling that quit the sellers. if it does not then NZD will get too much strong and there will be a big slap on USD.
Nice analysis dear. Please keep guiding people like me :) thanks a lot

A bearish pattern on top of impulse leg could signify a bearish behavior, or, at least showing that the rally might be at the end. With such a steep upward move a correction is necessary. Closing above 83686 invalidates the pattern but doesn't necessarily mean that buyers are in charge again. I don't think that this will happen, instead, reaching the previous high and failing to create a new one is most likely. Love to see bearish pattern formation on top, even more if it completes after a bigger ret., in this case a 76 pip one and touching the 23.6 ret. of the leg up.

Nice Cypher. I'd rather say that the time frame is a bit low... I have chosen 15 minutes. :-)
