Great chart thanks. I wonder how you calculate the ratios in these patterns and what to look for ?

1) identify swings.
2) measure the size of the swings.
3) divide the size of the following swing by the size of the previous one. this gives you the ratio.

Your question is step #3. But how you will accomplish it if you skipped steps #1 and #2? They are of crucial importance and should be mastered BEFORE you even think about the step #3.
