I hope you're right, but I'm not sure about the reasoning. Comparing Bitcoin's absolute price (relative to USD) to the *percentage* dominance of altcoins is like comparing apples to oranges. It's possible for Bitcoin's price to rise without altcoins rising relative to it, and vice versa, because crypto is an open system. Money can flow from the broader market, from whales and investment funds for example, into either Bitcoin, altcoins, or both. Without a good argument that justifies why altcoin dominance is bound to rise in the first place, it's useless to extrapolate from 2017/18. Again, I agree that altcoins are going to continue to grow in dominance up to a point, but not because Bitcoin has simply had a price increase.
