Platinum hits upper resistance band - Retrace possible  Long

PLATINUM (US$/OZ)TVC

Description

Platinum has hit the upper resistance band and could see a retrace here. Afterwards, breaking this resistance would enable much higher prices to come.

Hey, I followed you after I commented on your UUUU chart. I am looking at this chart as platinum has been on my radar and you had an idea there too, and I just had a question about how you made this forecast.
My question for you is this:
On the day that you made this chart, which was (at least I think it was) January 7, the red candle with long wicks at either end must have been present when you made the chart because when I press the 'Play' button and see the progression after wards, on face value, it appears as though it did not bounce off that black horizontal support line after painting that red candle. So... when you made the chart, it looks like the red candle was probably touching the top of the purple box, and your suggestion was it would go down and touch that horizontal black line, then launch upwards.
Now, what I am seeing here is that pattern must have played out, just 'earlier' than your prediction, because these are monthly candles, and the wick for the January candle did go down to that support line. And the green February candle did blast off as predicted, again, just earlier.

I guess my point in asking this question is simply to clarify that you were actually accurate with this forecast. The price had gone up to the purple box, you said it would go down, then blast through the top, which is what it actually did, but instead of touching support in like April or May, it did it at some point during January before the red candle completed... So it just appears as though you were incorrect when in fact you were spot on...

I hope you were able to follow this diatribe, but this is the second chart of yours I've stumbled across on a different asset that I'm interested in, and I am again impressed with the forecast as it appears to be spot on.

@phreum, Hey man. Yeah, thats what it looks like, the backtest happened earlier and at a higher restance line, which is just as valid. For me, the backtest is now done and we should be heading higher from here. Remember that this is just a game of probabilities and no guarantees. The overall structure played out like it should, breakout backtest further upwards. That increases the reliability of the chart pattern.

Thanks for the kind words too!
