What is your take on the other precious metals, silver, and gold? The gold/platinum ratio is out of whack in the sense that platinum looks undervalued by that comparison. Silver to gold has a similar look with silver being undervalued. Curious how they look from Wyckoff perspective? As always, great chart.

For gold, things changed in 2017 right? there was an uptrend that started....
I see that trend is dying... its on a Wyckoff distribution ventilator in 2018 and there was a failure of reaccumulation in 2017..
So Now, i have to see what market does , where the support forms , if there is a selling climax change of character post support..
going by the indicators
downside seems to be limited though, both the stoch rsi and cci have floored up witht he rsi forming a tripple bottomish like structure..
the uptrend is likely to resume, but in what shape and size, that story will be told by the selling climax and automatic reaction...

@ThankUKind, widening the gaze.. in the monthly chart there is a bleek picture for gold...i would love to do a public idea about this.. but given the circumstance in the world economics, i think its better to wit than to conclude any faster.. but i have a hunch, there is a wyckoff distribution going on in the larger time frame too , like its some kind of B wave of a corrective ABC, which we are in and The bearish C wave is coming...
May be i am too much an optimist..

@Sandipan.mch, Thank you for such a well articulated and complete reply. What you speak of and show in your chart is my concern. I have been accumulating gold/silver over the past year thinking it was a smart play. My decision was not based on any sort of real technical picture, as I knew no TA at the time. I just felt the U.S. stock market was overbought, and inflation was due to surface from the quantitive easing that the fed did during the 2008 recession. That being said, maybe selling gold while I am not in the negative would be the wise choice now.
