Many market participants have the same problem - holding a profitable position for a long time. For this reason, people don't take away all the movement of the instrument.
You can give reasons, I will re-enter corrections and increase the number of coins - in 95% of cases, this does not happen
-Profit brings diligence.
-A trader has one goal - to catch the current market trend. That's it.
-You won't start making big money until you learn to hang on to winning trades, and the longer you hold on, the greater your profit potential.
-Hold your profitable position as long as possible and close your losing position as soon as possible
"Losing positions", you mean long term ones on loss. Cause sometimes short term ones could be on loss, when re-entering a correction phase. You can't always buy the bottom.

The key is to see where the trend is changing. I think you mentioned that after the BTC ETC you were selling part of your portfolio since you were expecting a subsequent drop. Did many of those trades carried on rising until (at least) now, because if so, you did not hold for long enough time either? Great post, thanks!
