PowerLedger (POWR) SO MUCH NEWS..

BITTREX:POWRBTC   PowerLedger / Bitcoin
First of all, What is POWR?

"Power Ledger is a blockchain-based peer-to-peer energy trading platform enabling consumers and businesses to sell their surplus solar power to their neighbours without a middleman.
The Power Ledger system tracks the generation and consumption of all trading participants and settles energy trades on pre-determined terms and conditions in near real time. A user simply receives a registration email from their Application Host, they click on a link which takes them to the Power Ledger platform where they create a userid and password. That’s it, once logged in they can see their electricity usage and all their P2P trading transaction details." source : Powerledger.io

Lets get straight to why we should be looking at trading POWR.

Fundamentals :
At this moment, POWR is currently one of the semi-finalists in the 2018 Extreme Tech Challenge which is based in Las Vegas, the finalists will be announced in approximately 9 days from now. Should POWR be one of the finalists, the top 3 finalists will have the chance to present in front of the judges that are lead by non other than Richard Branson.

This coin is still at it's early stages yet it's showing so many good signs that this could be a huge thing in 2018 and 2019.

Technical :
First let's look at the MACD , the 1h chart is telling us that the MACD is crossing.
the RSI has been trending upwards
BB is squeezing giving us even a better indication that a break-out is going to happen.

Break-out point : 7000
Buy in zone : 6000 - 6950
Stop loss : 5800 - 5900 (REMEMBER TO ALWAYS SET YOUR STOP-LOSS)
Feel free to set your own stop-loss that satisfy your needs, base it on your entry level, how long you're looking to hold for and what is your target level.

Targets :
7800
8600
9300
10430
11700
(more to come later)

Good luck!

If you liked this, please feel free to thumbs up, follow, share with your friends. I hope you all become rich one day.
Trade active: Targets :
7800 (TARGET REACHED)
8600 (TARGET REACHED)
9300 (TARGET REACHED)
10430
11700
Comment: If you sold at targets, congrats you've made a lot of profit already, if you are still holding, congrats you're on the way to moon-city.

POWR is just so undervalued, it's still new to the scene and it hasn't seen the real action yet. so much more to come.

I'm still hodling.
Trade active:

we're following the trendline. remember to buy low and sell high.

update your stop losses.

MACD is already crossed and going upwards on the 15min chart. a little retracement is happening now which is normal. you can consider buying in here. you must evaluate the risk/reward yourself and make the decision yourself.

RSI still bullish
Comment: What is happening now is normal, set stop losses or hold, these coins will go back up again. this is happening because of BTC's dramatic run.
Trade closed: target reached: 7800 (TARGET REACHED)
8600 (TARGET REACHED)
9300 (TARGET REACHED)
10430 (TARGET REACHED)
11700 (TARGET REACHED)

Congratulations to everyone, we have hit all targets, I do believe we will hit new ATHs.

If you have sold at any target, congrats on your profit
If you choose to still hold, keep it going! I truly believe that this coin has a lot of potential, not just from technical analysis stand-point, but from a fundamental stand-point this project has strong potential. POWR will definitely be huge in 2018 and 2019.
Comment: If you followed and made profit and liked my analysis, then make sure to hit the follow button, like and share with your friends.

Your feedback means a lot to me and it motivates me to work harder and find good trades for you. feel free to leave a comment or a message telling me what you think.

I wish you the best.
Comment: This is why I remind you to put on your stop losses, and to always keep trailing your stop losses. BTC surged from the 13k-14k area to 17k. when BTC rises up like that, all alts drop.

Always keep an eye on BTC. You have three options :
- Set stop loss , once stop loss is reached, wait for it to go lower and rebuy in again.
- sell at the highest you can, wait for the dip, rebuy.
- HODL.
Comment: Here's a little update :
POWR is in the top 3 finalists who will be pitching in front of the judges that are lead by none other than Richard Branson.

This is great news.
Great chart..your targets have been spot on.
Where I always seem to go wrong is working out the price to rebuy.
I've miscalculated the price or the time with disastrous results.
When I've hit them correctly it boosts the trade massively.
Could you give any advice on these levels, please?
Either your estimates for this trade in particular
or any formula that could help me work them out
I know I can use support levels but I'm never sure which ones exactly
Any advice gratefully appreciated.
Thanks

@matgavaghan, I use the fib retracement tool to find targets and support levels, although you should never really use the same number as a target, I usually place my target around that area depending on previous candles.

@Ramy2700, Well, you've done pretty well so far with the targets.
I seem to be doing much better on this trade, thankfully. And thank you

Do you think we hit 117 in one move?
There are other charts on here which break up the
109 and 117 targets with a 4-day retracement.
I worry about being caught in that
Any thoughts?

@matgavaghan, I'd personally just "trail-stop-loss", every time the price moves up, increase your stop loss as well so you secure profits.

The reason why I don't choose to break down targets like that is because I'm aiming for the long run, you are free to sell at whichever point you desire, profit is profit no matter what!

@Ramy2700, THis is definitely a coin to stay in. I will investigate where to best put my stop-loss. Thanks
