RIDE is probably ready to breakout in the days ahead Long

Description

I've been long for a few weeks but I think it looks just about ready to launch from this congestion really soon. Very nice look here

I think RIDE is a pretty good case study on why you should generally focus on horizontal breakouts and how waiting for a breakout is usually in your best interest. I get long very often in anticipation of breakouts, and it usually works well for me. But this time it didn't. The other thing about this pattern is how obvious it was. When perfect set-ups that everyone sees fail, they fail in a big way. This didn't fail though - it just didn't confirm.

this is so true. I sometimes do this mistake of not waiting for a confirmation (somehow I am sure it will ) and it turns out the same way, they fail and it's obvious looking back.

@darkmode, Yep, this is why keeping records of your signals is key. Looking back to see how many of these patterns you anticipated but didn't work is a good homework.

I like the story of the company and the CEO looks like a smart guy to me when I hear him talk in interviews. In am going into it head first now, raw first impressions. It's the beginning of a story that on many occasions is among the most intriguing parts of it as a whole, and that seems the case here with Lordstown Motors as well. it's no different when I look at it from the (personal) perspective of bumping into a potential new investment to make (if you kindly disregard some issues like magnitude of the operation, scale and stuff like that ;)). It's a feeling of sudden rush to know more, it's a feeling that is hard to temper.

@W0lfRAider, yep, I'm a big fan. I think this part of research is generally overlooked
