have to disagree - this is not an Elliot Wave, price has been driven recently by catalyst and economic surprise, not by typical human behaviour

@barryabs, it's chicken and egg. Whether it's M&A, general news, dividends, earnings etc. there are always surprises and the market mostly prices these in, but obviously not always. That aside, the algos use fib levels as buy and sell triggers so, regardless of why, price can be stimulated purely on the fact there was a surprise.
