Dividend payment ahead, Randgold Resources is expected to rise

Long
LSE:RRS   None
RRS is expected to rise in value due to the upcoming dividend payment on the 22-23rd of March. Randgold only pay dividend once a year so it's kind of a big deal for those, who try hunting them down. In this case we're talking about a £145/share payment.

Also, Randgold's political problems in the Congo are expected to take a positive turn due to the original contract the company signed with the local government, that promised them a 10 year royalty free mining.

From a TA standpoint, we just find a support around £5800 and it seems to be a solid one. MACD , RSI and Keltner Channel directions on 30 minute, 1 and 4 hour chart also support this positive trend.

After this event, the price will most likely take a dive and look for a new average.
