The descent of a giant...........

Description

I grew up thumbing through the radio shack catalog. Marveled by the all the electronic gizmos that I knew so little about but dreamed of learning. The remote controlled cars, planes and racetracks were always just out of reach. Just the smell of the place breathed excitement. All but gone now. Closest thing to it today is an apple store. I recently entered a store and the main sell was phones. They were up front and center. The coolness was gone. It even smelled different. What happened? I suppose this is what happens when you don't sell what people want anymore. Then, there is the flood of cheap Chinese electronics. Remote controlled cars are a dime a dozen and found just about anywhere. As Warren might say , the moat has been drying up for some time now and the castle is coming down brick by brick.

just another phone store now , but there are other phone stores making it all over the place , and i do not need the vacuum tube tester that they used to have .
maybe they could merge with a "pay day loan store "

Either partner up with a grocery Store like Kroger, Safeway. OR Sell assets and throw in the towel. This business model is dead.
