Because they won't raise rates and all the speculation suggesting they will will only add to a big upmove in silver and gold and a down move in the dollar. If the FED doesn't want to raise rates, and they never do, always capitulating ad kicking the can, they may take down the stocks before the FMOC meeting so that they have a good reason to not raise. Yes, it's a conspiracy, it's always a conspiracy at these levels because absolute power corrupt absolutely.

As rate hikes should be priced into the market, I agree. There's no reason to panic as long as support holds! Friday pump or dump is the question, the market likes to pump on Friday and that's what I'm betting on as well.
