Considering the price range being analysed, perhaps you should apply the price log scale, which would provide you a different perspective...

I belive it is heading up like most of the other years this index has lived. Take a look at my post;
I think the general opinion about the market is optimistic for 2016, despite declining oil price. The market has mostly re calibrated and are ready for yet another bull year...not perhaps the strongest bull year, but definitely upwards. Be aware of smaller adjustments throughout the year though if going long. Corrections I do not think they will be any longer than in 2015 though.
