That seems to be the case. With 5 Trillion dollars sitting on the sidelines waiting for pullbacks to buy stocks, I can't really see anything else happen. It seems insane, but since foreign markets are not doing well, we also have international buyers. Brexit mess means risk, so British buy more American stocks. New investors tell their friends they keep making money and their friends become buyers. Home prices are going up, and interest rates down. People can pull cash out of their houses while refinancing at lower rates.......to buy stocks in a market they see only goes up. There are buyers, buyers everywhere and no real reason to sell, since every small dip gets bought up. Buyers have learned to ignore all bad news because it hasn't mattered AT ALL. Korea blows shit up, stocks go up. Middle East blows up, stocks go up. Riots in the streets, stocks go up. People filing bankruptcy in record numbers....stocks go up. President is a racist... stocks go up. People dying all over the world and natural disasters happening right and left.... STOCKS GO UP.
