WHAT IS THE KST INDICATOR ? Daily Update Mar.30,2023

Education
SP:SPX   S&P 500 Index
I use the KST Indicator each day in my trading
to either confirm, or get non-confirmation of trend bias.

You can find the KST Indicator on most technical indicator platforms
and importantly, it can adjusted to any time frame analysis you choose.

The KST Indicator Chart for S+P 500
is included with my Daily Update, each trading day here on tradingview.com

For purposes of definition/use of the KST Indicator
From Investopedia .com ;Author Adam Hayes

"The KST Indicator,
also known as the "Know SureThing Indicator"
is a "momentum" oscillator, developed by famed technical analyst Martin Pring
to make "rate- of- change" readings easier for traders to interpret.

The KST Indicator is derived
by taking the Simple Moving Average (SMA)
of four different Rate- Of -Change (ROC) Periods,
adding them together, to come up with the KST

"SignalLine " for the KST Oscillator is created by
taking a 9- Period SMA (Smoothed Moving Average)

The KST Indicator can be used in the same manner
as any momentum oscillators,
such as the well known Relative Strength Indicator (RSI)

Trading signals are generated,
when the KST "crosses over" the Signal Line,
but traders also look for "convergence" or "divergence" with price,
overbought or oversold conditions, or crossovers of the "center line".

Conclusion :
Many traders combine the KST Indicator,
with other forms of technical analysis,
to maximize their odds of success in trading !

You should do the same.

Currently
The KST Indicator
is on a
BUY SIGNAL March 30,2023
on the S+P 500 Daily (Shown Here)
with a reading of Minus -17.40,
having crossed above
the "signal line" at Minus -25.40
during the last week of trading.
