Sure looks like a big 'ol failed breakout on the S&P weekly chart. Next step would be a close below Monday's low. Volume shows distribution trend. Is money leaving or rebalancing?
I think smart money is leaving for the sidelines to wait for buying opportunities either just before the November election, or a bit after if the market panics post election.
