We have a lot of economic news this week with the CPI tomorrow and the FMOC on Wednesday. The news media's are constantly talking about the same thing they've been talking about all year and that's Recession, Bottoms, and Tops.
Personally, I said to avoid the media in general. Remember they need x amount of hours of content to fill segments; therefore, they'll throw anything and anyone on television to fulfill that requirement.

The futures aren't looking bad, but it is early. I still expect the markets to catch some upside momentum leading into the new year, regardless of what is being said in the media and economic figures.
