I have Jan Calls in VXX because it is most rare fo aug 1 to oct 30 without some blood on Wall St. I also note stock prices to earnign to earnings as seen on stockcharts.com....there is a huge

Perhaps the blood will be the correction from its current price into the buy zone I put forward. ;)
Question - why calls in VXX? Due to contango it deteriorates overtime, this product specifically deteriorates tremendously. VIX options are the way to go. (I personally prefer VIX futures far more, but that's another story.)
In terms of earnings, it isn't factored into my decision making.
