I don't have so drastic opinion because the model for "bottoms" is accurate if you look them in the perspective of buy points. I think it's an interpretation mistake.
Another error is to try to find the exact date of the buy poit because they happen close to the dates.
I must confess that I have been try to short looking for bottoms when we should have been waiting for the buy points to go long.
