An Impatient Trump

Like or dislike Trump has been living under pressure since taking office since the Russian collusion reports and investigations about possible Russian interference in the 2016 election, to the polemic of its Tax reports that are still undergoing, the trade war with different countries and an overwhelming quantity of polemics declarations and decisions during his term. Trump always looked impavid and stuck to its way to conduct the facts, through its twitter. But now something seems dangerously different when we took a closer look at how Trump behave has changed in the recent turmoil that he is facing.
On the trade war, the Trump administration seems to be escalating the aggression against China at an overwhelming pace, almost an irresponsible one; close to the beginning of the trade talks, the mood of the negotiation has become of hostilities. Since the blacklist move against eight giant Chinese tech companies not only hits the financial part of the Chinese sector but also affects the domestic problem on China since the baning was invoked by the allegation of humans right violation against Muslim minorities possible triggering bigger effects from Muslim nations that hold business with China. We must remember that denounces about Muslim Camps (according to reports more than two million Muslims have been incarcerating) in China have been around for quite a while now, but it’s the first time that was public pointed by a government of such prominence. Other countries have been silent about the matter, due to the economic and political strings of China around them, but a U.S swing could change the landscape. That said, we can see why this matter goes beyond the simple U.S baning and could start a major retaliation from Beijing, and the U.S seems to set the strategy to press on this approach since imposed too a restriction of Visas for Chinese official linked to the Muslim problem. Despite the humanitarian aspect of the decision, the timing was precisely and cleared placed to put pressure on the trade talks, and now serves as a step for further aggressions and sanctions.
On the domestic side, Trump also is stepping up the aggressions in his fight against the impeachment inquiry as the White House vowed that would block any cooperation and called the investigation unconstitutional and invalid, a move that looks drastic sloppy since the apparent lack of coordination between Donald and his key Republican allies. The White House had blocked the testimony of a diplomat at the House impeachment probe, a signal that the strategy of Trump it's moving recklessly than in previously fights faced by the President.
Amidst the concerning data of the U.S economy, Trump movements could be part of a new strategy of using the chaos, fear, and instability to bury its adversaries and take the lead by an iron fist, or a symptom that Trump may it's losing it temper and becoming reckless on his strategy, a concerning scenario considering the effect of his decision on the global economy.
For today beyond keeping an eye on the development of the events mentioned above, we must be the focus on the JOLTs Job Openings data, set to be disappointing considering the recent series of frustrating job data in the previous weeks. And the Federal Open Market Committee Meeting outlook.
