S&P500 First Month of Earnings Season GRAPHED

Alcoa (AA) kicks off the Earnings Season in the S&P500 each quarter. Here is a chart of the first month of "earnings season" which starts when AA announces.

It's useful to know when there is more "uncertainty" around the upcoming "earnings season" and this chart captures the times when people in general are more nervous about the upcoming news.

Thanks Ivan and you are welcome. There is so much information in a chart that needs to be shown to help the chart make more sense. I'm glad you like this one.

Some of the boxes are just a bit off on the start of the red box that marks the first day and the low of the first month. That's why I included AA's chart so you could see when they actually reported.

Perhaps we can write a script called "Earnings Season and have it pull Alcoa's Earnings Release Date" and plot the start of the season.
